East Austin original closing its doors.

It’s been 13 years since Blue Dahlia Bistro first opened our doors. Regretfully, we have made the tough decision to not reopen our original East Austin location.

The 11th Street restaurant first opened in July 2007. The European style, garden setting, and simply fresh cuisine quickly began to give the bistro its unique charm, making Blue Dahlia Bistro a staple of Austin dining throughout the years. We’ve been so privileged to be part of celebratory brunches, birthday gatherings, countless first dates, and even a few engagement.

We would like to thank East Austin for all the years and so many great memories. We have been honored to be a part of this community. The good news is Westlake and San Marcos locations will start to reopen this Friday, May 1st, for take-out and delivery. So if you’re craving a frittata, coq au vin, or maybe one of the many tartines, Blue Dahlia Bistro is still just a short drive or phone call away.
